Faculty of Economics

  • Department of Welfare Policy and Community Studies

There are numerous approaches to the problems of welfare, from the perspectives of medicine, psychology, social security, and public administration. At the Gifu Keizai University Department of Welfare Policy and Community Studies, we study the structure of communities. In this respect we focus on public welfare and the way in which it is promoted by the individuals within these communities, who create social ties through networks of mutual support. Students not only acquire the specialized abilities required to coordinate regional welfare programs, but also develop skills relating to social welfare assistance and care, cultivating the talents required when working on welfare's front lines.

Faculty of Business Administration

Sports and health play a very important role our lives. Our Department of Sports Management has a curriculum that helps the student acknowledge and gain an understanding of the ideal relationship between sports and health and to then utilize this knowledge from the viewpoint of business administration. Our goal is to train and produce physical education teachers, sports instructors, recreation specialists and people in related professions who can make contributions in the field of sports business.
